Pear Tree Farm is a family run caravan and camping site close to the historic city of York, North Yorkshire. Set within a 170-acre farm, the camp site is just seven miles from the convenience of the shops and attractions of York. Our site is certified by the Camping and Caravanning Club as Family Friendly, and we are also members of the RSPB and Natural England. Our aim on the farm is to create a

friendly environment for all the family to enjoy a holiday in peaceful and happy surroundings. Children and dogs are very welcome, and being a working farm we offer a wide range of seasonal activities. Our small site is usually abuzz with families during school holidays, and more restful during term time. We try to introduce our visitors to life on a small mixed farm and like to include you in all aspects of farm life from egg collecting each evening to farm walks identifying crops and wildlife. Harton is a peaceful little hamlet just over a mile from the A64. We are surrounded by excellent pubs and restaurants in the neighbouring villages. The nearest supermarket is only 15 minutes away, or you can have your shopping delivered direct to the site.
