🎄🇬🇧 A York family business has won the honour of supplying the Christmas tree outside No. 10 Downing Street!

York Christmas Trees has been named Christmas Tree Grower of the Year for the second time in six years, bringing the prestigious title back to Yorkshire! 🏆🌟

The family-run business, based at Wigginton Lodge, won Best Nordmann Fir at the 2026 British Christmas Tree Growers Association competition — and that very same tree went on to claim the overall title!

Oliver Combe, who runs the business with wife Kirstie, first won the award in 2020. Now, their winning tree will take pride of place outside the Prime Minister’s famous London residence this Christmas. 🎅✨

The family has been growing trees for 28 years, with each one spending around eight years growing in the field before it’s ready to be harvested. 🌲

What a fantastic achievement for a local Yorkshire business! 👏
