A story worth telling, right where it all began… 📖

Meet Matt Tipper, the author behind The Gunpowder Plot, a historical fiction novel telling the story through the eyes of Guy Fawkes and exploring the events that led to the Bonfire Night we know today 🔥

A year in the making, Matt’s book draws on historical accounts, recorded events and a little imagination to uncover the human stories behind one of history’s most famous conspiracies. After all, before they became names in the history books, they were sons, brothers and fathers!

With a fascination for the early Stuart era, Matt wanted to tell their stories from a different perspective, looking beyond the history books to the men behind the plot.

Matt will be joining us at the Inn until Friday, so pop in, meet the author and pick up your very own copy!
