After such a fun night in October with our first horse racing board game, we are having another one on Friday 13th February

Thanks to everyone who came and supported us yesterday whilst attending Farndale Show. We had a great day, the busiest show day we've had, lots of lovely people and the weather was perfect.

The guests staying in my holiday cottage bought some plants at the show and left them in the cottage garden whilst they went to have another look round. Sadly somebody went into the garden and removed these plants.

It would be very much appreciated if the plants could be returned before the guests leave in the morning. If you want to drop them at the front of the pub it would be greatly appreciated.

The daffodils may have gone for this year but the blue bells and wild garlic are just as stunning.

Farndale is a beautiful place to walk anytime of the year, come and enjoy a meal or a drink with us and relax in our beautiful beer garden, enjoy the views and listen to the birds.

Download the Merlin Bird ID app, we heard 13 different birds this morning in the garden, its an excellent app for bird watchers and nature lovers.
