Our resident Female White Peacock has taken her babies on the run this morning! Please keep an eye out for them and avoid them if you see them on the road. We have things in place for them if they go back home, so hopefully they will not be out for long!

So, we all jumped out of our skin last night and thought Trump had finally lost the plot and started WW3, but alas it was just a warning about BBQ's!
We are as of today banning all FirePits, but not BBQ's at this stage. However please be 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 sensible with BBQ's and follow the following guidelines:

🌾Stay away from long or dry grass
🫗Wet the ground under your BBQ
⬆️Keep the BBQ up off the ground & avoid using disposable BBQ's
💦Have water on standby
👀Watch your BBQ - do not leave unattended
🔥Extinguish all fires with water
🗑 Once COOL, dispose of your BBQ coals/ash in the METAL BBQ bins

⛺Please try to keep all tents at least 3m apart, and BBQ away from your tent.
Think ahead, watch what you are doing, wait until after your BBQ to open the 🍺🍷and if you use common sense there is no reason why you cannot enjoy BBQ food 🥩🍔🌭and stay safe. Thank you.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀.... becomes really good news! A few weeks ago, D&T heard a commotion with the peacocks early one morning, and after that didn't see Bonnie (the female) again... No body was found, but the males were clearly stressed and kept wandering together... Fast forward 4 weeks, and Bonnie reappears with 3 chicks! Neither her nor Clyde are supposed to be mature enough to breed, but clearly they have! Catching a Peahen and her 3 chicks is another story, apparently.... 🦚🐥🐥🐣

𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁 ⚠️
As the site is at capacity most of the time at the minute, can we please remind you to drive slowly up and down the gravel tracks. Not only does it create lots of dust, there is a lot of wildlife about as well as people and dogs (often off leads, even though they shouldnt be). The site speed limit is 10mph and this is regularly being broken. Please adhere to any limits and site rules, they are for the benefit of all. Thank you.

Unfortunately the digger working behind the pods has dug through an electricity cable! There is an electrician on the way, and I will post as soon as the electric is back on. Many thanks and sincere apologies.
