Bumble hasn’t had a good run for a month, so liquorice and I have decided to take a drive out and a few nights’ away.
Leaving the rain and automal skies of Aldeburgh we are now enjoying the sunny skies in Sandringham.
Going to do some repairs on Bumble ( as she will be up for sale soon), walking, research future trips, relaxation and might even enjoy a jigsaw and book.

Back in Aldeburgh so got to enjoy my Sunday with Imogen and my mum.
Enjoyed a lovely afternoon walk - 3 generations!!

Decided to enjoy dinner at the hotel.
* Greek feta baked in filo pastry with Greek honey and sesame seeds
* Seafood pasta ( freshly caught prawns, mussels, clams and squid in a beautiful cream sauce)

No w**e but a cocktail- Aperol Spritz !!

Last day to enjoy my time in Kefalonia. The sun is shining so I’ve enjoyed a walk along the harbour to see turtles, now packing and sorting trip back to Aldeburgh tomorrow.
Heading out again later for dinner and w**e.

Awoken to another beautiful sky so once again enjoyed a perfect breakfast, including a freshly made special omelette.
Jumped in Murtle (my hire car) and drove around the coastline and mountains.
1. St Theodore Lighthouse
2. Argios Gerasimos (Sacred Monastery)
3. Kefalonia Honey bee farm ( honey tasting)
4. Skala ( lunch and beach time)
Then back in Argo for a harbour walk, some turtle watching and of course, a Mythos.

After some needed sleep I enjoyed the hotels’ beautiful buffet breakfast with a harbour view.
Caught the ferry to Luxori to enjoy some shopping and relaxed with a b**r before catching the ferry back to Argo.
Evening walk along the harbour side to see turtles and stopped at ‘ Van De Rossa’ for dinner - freshly caught (from the harbour) sea bream with grilled vegetables and olive oil lemon dressing, plus of course some Greek white w**e.

Yesterday was ‘goodbye’ day.
Whilst many headed to the airport for their flight, Aimee and Ella (who have evening flights) came with me to visit some more of Kefalonia.
Farsi, Fiskardo( to walk around the beautiful harbour and shops) then onto Myrtos beach for swim.
Dropped the girls back I then headed to Argostila to check-in to my hotel for my 5 day holiday.

Yesterday was our last day of work for ‘wildlife sense’ sea turtle volunteering program in Kefalonia.
After our last shift many of us walked to our local beach for a sunset swim then back to get ready for our meal and drinks out at a local taverna.

Woke up early to enjoy another beautiful sunrise before catching the ferry back to Kefalonia.
Then, perfect a Greek meze cookery class on an organic farm.
