Our Story
One of the entrance of the Lagodekhi protected areas is 50 meters distance from our guesthouse. The wood, the river, unique flora and fauna is next to our guesthouse. We are at the end of Mountain Caucasus. The must see destinations: Black Rock Lake, Ninoskhevi waterfall, Machi castle and knowledge of nature trail are all around to start from our guesthouse.
The guesthouse is also unique for its garden, full of fruits, greens and vegetables. We often try to cook for our guests, from the our garden. Breakfast eggs come from our chickens, greens for the salads are freshly picked right away, fruits, dry fruits, pumpkins, grapes for the homemade wine are all around surroundings. Guests favour mint tea is the guarantee of the peaceful sleep at Ludwig Guesthouse.
We would also like to tell you about the name Ludwig. It comes from our second address Ludwig Mlokosevichi #1(opposite side Asatiani Str. 28). Ludwig Mlokosevich was the Polish scientist who was on his expedition at Lagodekhi protected areas and by whose initiative later was founded Lagodekhi protected areas and one of the entrance to the national park of Lagodekhi, has his name and is from the side of our guesthouse. That why we decided to call the guesthouse the Ludwig - for the memory of the person who played the big role in founding our treasure Lagodekhi Protected Areas.
