About us
Tour company SvanLand is founded by the Khergiani family. The family name is known in the world thanks to famous mountain climbers. This is a family name of mountain lovers keeping rich traditions in this field.
Khergianis were well known mountain climbers – Mikheil Khergiani (The Tiger of the mountains) Gabriel and Beknu Khergianis, as well as climbers of new generation.
We the founders of the company have been providing different services to tourists in Svaneti Region since Communist time.
In 2012 our business became more organized deu to increased demand on touristic services in the Region.
We Offer:
Camping in tents
Camping and hostel are situated in a large green yard (town) in the town of Mestia at 1300 m distance from the central square
Camping is furbished with a shower and two bathrooms. Kitchen and a dining room are at tourists’ disposal. One can buy beer and soft drinks locally.
Price:
12 GEL per person
10 GEL per person if visitors are with their own tents.
Hostel
Two separate 2-bed standard rooms.
Price: 20 GEL per person.
Large common room on second floor with two-level five beds and a balcony. Individual lockable storage units are available (we advise to use your own locks).
Price: 18 GEL per person.
Food is not included in our service.
However guests can use a kitchen and a dining room. Beer and soft drinks are available locally
Hostel has a common shower room and a restroom. Guests can also use outdoor restrooms and a shower room.
