Folk by Tbilisi Luxury Boutique Hotels is located in Krtsanisi Park in the heart of Old Tbilisi. This is where the legendary battle of Krtsanisi took place in 1795 and 300 Aragvians fought the enemy forces to provide safe passage for the Royal family. Their heroic sacrifice has since been immortalized in Georgian folklore and in 1959 the 300 Aragviansβ Memorial was erected with the eternal fire burning to this day. The name and design of our hotel reflects this history. Upon entry you will see traditional Georgian garments from the 18th century displayed in the lobby. This combination of folklore with the modern interior gives one the feeling of authenticity and comfort.
All the most interesting tourist attractions, the most popular nightlife spots, the famous sulfur baths of Abanotubani and Liberty Square can easily be reached on foot, which makes Folkβs location ideal whether you are visiting Tbilisi for business or leisure, and despite close proximity of the noisy city life, we guarantee, that your stay Folk will be peaceful and tranquil.
