What is the journey - according to Nicolas Bouvier?

Nicolas Bouvier, writer, iconographer and traveller, sees travel as an adventure. Writing is another.

His book “The Way of the World” is an indispensable narrative, which makes us (help ) to measure the evolution of our world for five decades, for better or for worse.
The way of the world is a kind of magnificent travel story, tinged with poetry. Nicolas Bouvier is part of this lively and vibrant (as much as poetic or even lyrical) community of travel writers. A literary genre apart.

De Diib)l (is pronounced Dibol)
fruit seed of the breadfruit tree, delicious, cooked in a creamy sauce.
Or fufu cooked like gnocchi.
At the French breakfast with baguette and homemade jam and a good coffee.
Or Abidjan-style Fish with Attiéké. To a tropical salad with prawns and pineapple. Or, Palava sauce with the delicious agushi (melon seed powder) and ripe plantains. Or, grouper ceviche (fish cooked with lemon juice and spices)... etc...
As in other fields, the totality is more than the sum of the parts.

Mixing quality ingredients, flavors and influences is a journey.

De Diib)l (se prononce Dibol)
(graine des fruits de l’arbre à pain) délicieux, cuits dans une sauce crémeuse.
Ou du fufu cuit comme des gnocchis. Au petit déjeuner français avec baguette et confiture maison et un bon café.
Ou du poisson façon Abidjan avec Attiéké. Et la salade tropicale avec des gambas et ananas. De la sauce palava (feuille) avec le delicieux agushi (poudre de graine de melon) et des bananes plantains bien mûres. Ou bien encore, du ceviche de mérou (poisson cuit au jus de citron et épices)... etc...

Comme dans d'autres domaine, la totalité est plus que la somme des parties.

Mélanger des ingrédients de qualité, saveurs et influences est un voyage.

The coconut harvest.
With the help of neighbors.
A hell of a job!
It must be said that the coconut trees planted 22 years ago are now very high. Most of the coconuts (the dry ones) will be transformed, by another neighbor, into excellent oils for cooking and also for the skin.

A short, efficient and community-based work for a good product 100% made in Busua.

La récolte des noix de coco.
Avec l'aide des voisins.
Un sacré boulot !
Il faut dire que les cocotiers plantés, il y a 22 ans, sont maintenant très haut. La plupart des noix de coco (les sèches) seront transformées, par une autre voisine, en excellente huile pour la cuisine et aussi pour la peau.

Un circuit court, efficace et communautaire pour un bon produit 100% made in Busua.

They was cycling from Switzwerland to Cap Town by east Africa.
And now, go back to Europe by WestAfrica.
We welcome them for few day.
