Our hearts are so full as we welcome back our dear friend Lode! Luc, Lode first came to Kpando in 2008, 2011, and 2013 to pour love into renovating schools in Dafor, Todzi, and beyond.

Now, he has returned with his wonderful family and friends to explore the beauty of Ghana and witness how much the Emo Foundation has blossomed from the seeds they planted years ago. We are beyond happy to host you all and share these special moments! 🤗🇬🇭

Big plans for a cleaner, greener Kpando! 🌍✨

At the Emo Foundation, we believe that true sustainability starts with a vision and community action. That is why we are incredibly excited to announce that we are planning a major new initiative!

We are moving toward an official partnership with local schools to support the amazing initiative students already show in keeping our community clean. Together, we are planning a massive cleaning exercise at the Kpando Torkor market.

To reward the hard work of these youth and connect them with nature, we are also planning an educational tour on beautiful Lake Volta to teach them firsthand about environmental preservation. 🌊🌱

Our main focus is to educate everyone about the impact we can make when we stand together. We want to show the community what is possible, but we need your support, recognition, and energy to make it happen!

We are truly grateful to the team from Odisee University, Belgium, for their meaningful visit and impact in our community. 🇧🇪💙

The team arrived on 2nd February 2026 and, during their stay, provided essential wound care support to pupils at Gadza Primary and Junior High School as well as at the local prison. Their compassion, professionalism, and hands-on care brought comfort and relief to many.

Moments like these remind us of the power of kindness and collaboration across borders. It was an absolute pleasure hosting such a dedicated and caring team.

Thank you for making a difference in the lives of these children and the wider community. You are always welcome back! 🙏🏾

Big progress at Emo Guesthouse! 🎨 We are officially in the transformation stage for our 4 new apartment extensions.
From fixing the beautiful wooden ceilings, windows, and doors to laying down the broken tile walkway at the back, every detail is coming together. We’ve even started the painting! 🖌️
We are working hard to make this the perfect home-away-from-home for you. We can’t wait to show you the final look! 🏠✨
