The corona virus unfortunately did not skip the African continent.

We are still hoping that it's true that high tropical temperatures and humidity will hamper the spread of the virus.
In the meantime, the effects of the pandemic are strongly felt.

The tourism industry has come to a complete standstill.

We wish all our business friends an incredible amount of strength, faith and a great African community spirit to overcome the effects. Stay inspired, innovative and positive!

“The lodge has a very calm and hospitable atmosphere and the food was great. My room was spacious and very clean. I only stayed for one night but the staff was so helpful and did everything in their power to make me feel at home. Will definitely go back if I return to Tamale!” Thanks for your stay and your review, Johanna. We will be happy to host you again!

It's January... our mango tree is flowering, the banana plants are fruiting and there is a ripe papaya on the trunk of the papaya tree every day. You can be sure of having some seasonal fruits with your breakfast under the dawadawa tree in our garden every morning.

Enjoy a tasty meal at our restaurant! Although our menu is not very large, every day we have some good options available. A popular (vegeterian) dish on our menu is Wagashi Salad with Sauteed Patatoes.
Wagashi is a fresh (usually fried) cottage cheese that is made by the semi-nomadic Fulani tribe that moves around Northern Ghana and beyond with their cattle. A delicious snack and, off course, very tasty in a salad!
