Our Story

The Elounda Eleon Villas & Suites are the ideal setting for relaxation and exploring the island of Crete. Located just 2km from the centre of the famous village of Elounda (a favourite destination for actors, royalty & big names in the music industry), the villas & suites are about 60km/70 minutes from Heraklion airport, while the lovely bustling market town of Aghios Nikolaos is only 5km away.

The 2 villas & 8 suites have all been designed by the owner, to emphasise the blend of modern & traditional and bring inside the wonderful light and colours of the Cretan summer. Tucked into the hillside looking down onto the deep blue of the Gulf of Mirabello, with stunning mountain ranges creating a perfect backdrop to the sparkling sea, and the silver-green leaves of the olive trees shimmering in the sun, there are beautiful views in every direction.

Perfect for couples, families and friends, each suite & villa offers an elegantly furnished private retreat with its own swimming pool and patio area, with services included. The suites are either open-plan or maisonette style, and include an enclosed kitchenette area, while villas are on two floors with three bedrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen. For families, cots/high chairs can be supplied on request, and baby-sitting can be arranged, at local cost. Villa guests also have access to extra executive services such as a chambermaid, butler or chef if required, by prior arrangement. The village of Elounda is a pleasant walk or short taxi ride away, where you can stroll around the harbour with its traditional fishing boats, sip an iced coffee next to the sea, explore the shops and restaurants, or relax on the sandy beach. The evenings are low-key but there is an enjoyable buzz in the bars and cafes, and plenty of excellent eateries to tempt your tastebuds, while for a more lively night on the town head over to Aghios Nikolaos - don’t worry if time just slips away, taxis are available into the early hours! There is plenty to see and do in the wider area, and if you would like to get out and explore we can call you a taxi, or arrange car hire either direct from the airport on arrival or from the resort, along with suggestions and information on what to see & do. We can also sort out taxi transfers from/to the airport or ferry port, just let us know in advance then you can simply relax and know that everything is organised for you.
