These two amazing photos, shot from our hotel by our guest astrophotographer Mr. Christian Brinkrolf (thank you!) are: the Iris Nebula (NGC 7023) discovered on October 18, 1794, by the German-British astronomer Sir William Herschel. Next one is the Cirrus Nebula (NGC 6960) located 2,500 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus, remnants of a supernova that occurred about 8,000 years ago.
