Insightful dialogues regarding tradition, history and the local beliefs, resulted to the conception of this residence, on an island known for its slopes and the narrow cottages, as well as its Byzantine and Medieval buildings (Monasteries, Churches and Towers). Looking at this private residence, one can perceive the dialogue between the different buildings. The first one at the lower level, beside

the property's main entrance is inspired by a typical cottage, in contrast to an imposing Monastery gate, which is sited next to it. The central building is oblong resembling a church with a tower house standing next to it instead of a belfry. All these are set to a harmonious dialogue, being respectful to their surroundings and the architecture, history and nature of Andros. A unique landmark of the residence is the two fish swimming in opposite directions that decorate the entrances, made with a traditional technique using pebbles.

Εύστοχοι διάλογοι για την παράδοση, την ιστορία και τα πιστεύω του τόπου, είχαν σαν αποτέλεσμα την δημιουργία αυτών των κατοικιών, σ' ένα νησί, που είναι γνωστό τόσο για τις «μασιές» και τα μακρόστενα αγροτόσπιτα, όσο και για τα Βυζαντινά και μεσαιωνικά κτίσματά του (Μοναστήρια, Εκκλησίες και Πύργοι). Απ' αυτά τα Αρχιτεκτονικά μοντέλα ξεκίνησαν οι DIALOGOI. Όταν βλέπεις εκεί ψηλά για πρώτη φορά αυτές τις ιδιωτικές κατοικίες, αυτόματα αντιλαμβάνεσαι τον διάλογο που έχουν μεταξύ τους τα διαφορετικά κτίσματα. Το πρώτο, χαμηλά στο δρόμο δίπλα στην κεντρική είσοδο του κτήματος, είναι εμπνευσμένο από μια τυπική αγροκατοικία που δίπλα της στέκει, σε αντίθεση, μια επιβλητική Μοναστηριακή πύλη. Το κεντρικό κτίσμα είναι στενόμακρο, θυμίζει Εκκλησία και δίπλα του στέκει αντί για καμπαναριό ένα Πυργόσπιτο. Όλα αυτά, σε αρμονικό διάλογο, σεβόμενα τον περιβάλλοντα χώρο, την αρχιτεκτονική ιστορία και την φύση της Άνδρου. Σήμα κατατεθέν των κατοικίων τα δύο ψάρια αμφίδρομης κατεύθυνσης που συναντάμε στις εισόδους φτιαγμένα με τον παραδοσιακό τρόπο του «βοτσαλωτού».

Andros's landscape cannot be regarded as being typically Cycladic. Walking trails meander through beautiful surroundings, crossing mountain slopes, creeks and little villages. Along the way, expect to encounter babbling natural springs as well as waterfalls that adorn the slopes!
