Upper floor - "mezzanine" (gable height 2.20 m) with bed (160x200 cm), wardrobe and air conditioning. Wooden windows and doors have mosquito nets. Outside: Natural stone terrace shaded with wine covered pergola and great views.

Location: south slope of Prinos in the last row of houses in a quiet location.
Distance to the beach about 1,5 km. The Prinos village offers shopping, has a health center, bus station and every Monday bazaar. During the summer period the shops are all day and Sunday open.

Discover the ancient beauty of the Chapel of Metamorphosis of Sotiros! This old Byzantine monument is all that remains of the original village, which was once burned by pirates. Just a few hundred meters below, a newer village with traditional architecture, similar to Pilion, awaits.

One of my favourite secret beaches in Greece, Thassos, a seagull-serenaded ferry hop from fortress-topped Kavala’s pastel-coloured houses and traditional cafés in northern Greece, is ringed with beautiful beaches and many are near-deserted even at the height of summer. Golden Beach – named for its glorious gilded sands – is understandably popular, but when it comes to get-away-from-it-all charm Fari Beach on this atoll’s southern coast near Skala Maries picturesque fishing harbour wins hands down. Pack a picnic for your day on this sun-dazzled slice of talc-soft sand washed by cyan seas, because there’s not much nearby.
