Στα παλαιοπωλεία του Μπιτ Παζάρ.

Το Teight βρίσκεται στην καρδιά της πόλης, σε μια γειτονιά που αναδείχθηκε ως σημείο συνάντησης και ενσωμάτωσης μιας πρωτοποριακής κουλτούρας με κέντρο τη νυχτερινή ζωή, τη μουσική, το σχόλιο στη διαφορετικότητα, από τις αρχές της δεκαετίας του 80’ μέχρι σήμερα.
To Teight ενσωματώνει στην φιλοσοφία του το πνεύμα των δρόμων γύρω του. Είναι τολμηρό και αυθάδες και επαναφέρει το αφήγημα στο σήμερα μέσω φωτογραφικών on-going projects σε δωματια και κοινόχρηστους χώρους.
Έχουμε ως άξονα τις εκφάνσεις της αστικής ζωής με τίποτα το περιττό. Στόχος το απροσποίητο βλέμμα μέσα από την καταγραφή προσώπων, ένα social inventory της πόλης.
Τα υπερμεγέθη τυπώματα του Γιάννη Μπουρνιά στους τοίχους, πορτρέτα άλλοτε σε κοντινά κάδρα και άλλοτε σε ολόσωμα, λειτουργούν ως ένα παράθυρο στην πόλη και αστική εισβολή μαζί.

Located at the heart of the city, the area has been established as a nightlife and fashion destination since the 1980s. Groundbreaking music subcultures of the time formed a vibrant crowd, legendary bars and a hyperlocal spirit that defined the decades to come.
Teight was created with the city’s people and street’s culture at heart. Nonchalant and audacious; urbane and edgy, Teight celebrates the neighborhood’s brazen energy.
Searching for the cityscape’s narrative, portraits of its people stand out as a bold, unequivocal look at the city’s crowd, the street’s culture and the contemporary scene.

The birthplace of avant-garde artistic movements, the Teatro Oficina by Lina Bo Bardi, was set up in the 1950s as an experimental drama company in the Bixiga neighborhood of São Paulo.

Drawing inspiration from the street theater and traditional Japanese performances, the space is conceived as an open corridor, connecting the street with the happenings inside, blurring the boundaries between actors and audience.
