Σε απόσταση 6 περίπου χιλιομέτρων νότια από την παραλιακή Αιγείρα στην ανατολική Αιγιάλεια, συναντάμε μία Μυκηναϊκή Ακρόπολη πάνω από το αρχαίο θέατρο της Αίγειρας.

Ο οικισμός στην ακρόπολη ιδρύθηκε περίπου στο 1200 π.Χ. (φωτό). Τα αρχαιολογικά κατάλοιπα δείχνουν ότι δεν υπήρχε μεγαλοπρεπές παλάτι όπως σε άλλα μυκηναϊκά κέντρα αλλά μάλλον ένα οργανωμένο αστικό περιβάλλον με κοινωνική ιεραρχία.
Έχουν εντοπιστεί ισχυρά αλλά όχι κυκλώπεια τείχη, λιθόκτιστα θεμέλια κτιρίων, ανωδομές από ωμές πλίνθους και συγκροτήματα δωματίων.

Η θέα από τη κορυφή του λόφου προς τον Κορινθιακό κόλπο είναι μοναδική.
