Really worth a visit!

This museum is located on the northwest coast of Aegina, along the main coast road. It consists of six chambers - the sculptor's workshops - while the landscaping surrounding them was designed by the sculptor. He left a collection of approximately 7,500 works to the Greek people on establishing his foundation. The visitor to the Kapralos Museum of Aegina may view works spanning the years 1963-93. His copper statue, The Mother, placed on a square opposite the museum by the sea, symbolizes the Greek mother, a woman who toils in devotion to her family.

Museum is open daily for 9:00 to 17:00.

There are concrete plans (2014) for a new museum that will be built op the land next to the old museum. In the new museum more of his work will be shown in more spacious areas.

Cool soap is a small natural soap factory based on the island of Aegina. It produces a series of all natural handmade soaps made with Greek olive oil as a base, to which other oils are added. The end result are soaps ideal for different uses and skin types. Each color and number represent a recipe - look around and find the soap that best suits your needs and skin type.

The idea behind cool soap is to bring the traditional method of soap making to modern life and needs while producing soaps that respect nature, people and animals. Cool soaps are produced with the cold process method, which means that oil benefits are kept alive and they reach you as fresh as can be.

The first series of 12 cool soaps is scent and colour free.
