Εάν επιθυμείτε να περάσετε σαββατοκύριακο στην Αραχωβα μπορώ να φροντίσω την διαμονή σας σε μια παραδοσιακή μεζονέτα με ζεστο περιβάλλον (τζακι , τζακούζι κτλ) καθώς και τις δραστηριότητες σας ( μαθήματα σκι με επιπλέον επιβάρυνση).

Αγαπητοί φίλοι, επισκέπτες, ταξιδιώτες, τουρίστες και παραθεριστές της Ικαρίας, σταματήστε να χρησιμοποιείτε το Gps και το Google map στο νησί. Να ρωτάτε τους οικοδεσπότες και σε συνδυασμό με το Gps να κανονίζετε τις διαδρομές σας στο νησί, διαφορετικά το μόνο που θα καταφέρετε χρησιμοποιώντας τα, είναι να ταλαιπωρηθείτε, να κινδυνεύσετε και να φέρετε ένα χάος όπου και να πάτε. Οι ιντερνετικοί χάρτες δεν είναι ενημερωμένοι και θα σας βγάλουν σε δύσβατους δρόμους, οι οποίοι συχνά μπορεί να είναι αντίθετης κατεύθυνσης. Βάζετε σε κίνδυνο τόσο εσάς όσο και τους γύρω σας. Παρακαλώ όσοι το δείτε να το κοινοποιήσετε.

Dear friends, visitors, travelers, tourists and vacationers of Ikaria,
stop using Gps and Google map on the island. Ask your hosts and in combination with the Gps arrange your routes on the island, otherwise the only thing you will achieve by using them is to suffer, risk and bring chaos wherever you go. Online maps are not up-to-date and will take you on bumpy roads, which can often be in the opposite direction.
You are putting both yourself and those around you at risk. Please share,

"Volunteer Hiking Holidays 2023: 10 - 14 April 2023" - Have you registered? Places are still available! Get booked now and look forward to new experiences on Ikaria!
We have announced it already, but we are happy to repeat ourselves and to reach out to you again.
From 10 - 14 April 2023 "Friends of Ikaria" in cooperation with the Ikarian Hiking Club "OPSIkarias" are organizing again the "Volunteer Hiking Holidays" on Ikaria - a week, where we will all be up in the Ikarian mountains, marking the hiking path on the famous Atheras.
We are inviting you to participate as this will give you an unique possibility to experience the beauties of Ikaria outside the season and far away from the beaches.

THERE ARE NO FEES! This event is for free, but you have to cover your expenses for travelling, accommodation, car rental and food.

During this week we will start every day from Agios Polikarpos (Northern side of the island) and we will be in the mountains for 5-6 hours. No worries, this is not the Mount Everest, but you need some physical condition, good clothes - especially shoes - and the willingness to be with the group for a couple of days.
We have organized accommodation for you and an evening programme that will offer you the chance to get into contact with the local people, to learn more about the history of the hiking paths on Ikaria.

So this is what we are offering to you. We hope that we could raise your interest in Ikaria outside the high summer season and you are ready for new experiences and a new aspects of nature and life on this unique island.
