ts and the bath boats which go over to the island of Nikouria. There is one restaurant just next and you easy access the whole island of Amorgos via bus or car from Agios Pavlos. The owners Mixalis and Urania welcome you to stay in their new apartments in this peaceful environment and hope that you going to have a relaxing vacation that will leave you with nice memories.

FESTIVAL OF AGIA PARASKEVI 25-26/7
The celebration of the church Agia Paraskevi, it’s located in the southern part of Amorgos in Kato Meria. It’s the biggest festival in the Cyclades and attracts visitors from all over the world. The preparations begin 17 of July and on the 25th, in the evening, the famous “patatato” is prepared for the next day. On the 26th the feast is on, with food, local music and dance.

PSIMENI RAKI FESTIVAL 31 of July at Katapola
You have the opportunity to see how this excellent beverage is made. Psimeni raki is still done traditionally by the island villagers, and its reputation has spread throughout Greece. The celebration continues by welcoming a boat carrying young dancers wearing traditional dresses. The dancers are met by local musicians and the dance starts. Psimeni raki is offered along with local delicacies such as Pasteli (local sesame seed candy with honey) and Anevates (pie with cheese and Raki). You can join the dance and the party goes on until the next morning.
