Last week there was another Panigiri (a Panigiri is a traditional village festival organized in Greece in honor of the name day of a local patron saint or a church. This time it was in Kalyves. It combines religious services with open-air parties full of food, live music, and dancing that continue late into the night.

It is the height of summer, and that means there is live traditional Greek music in every village every week. Always well-attended, with drinks, BBQ, and of course, lots of Greek dances. So also in Neo Chorio. We went to see Petros Maroulis. It remained very lively until the late hours!
