Living on the edge 😸

Just under the Acropolis in the neighborhood known as Anafiotika, there is an amazing viewpoint of Athens and Mount Lycabettus. It’s a nice sunset spot, as long as you don’t mind some furry friends joining you! 🐈

Tips for visiting the Acropolis👇🏼

The Acropolis of Athens is a rocky complex of several ancient buildings of great historical significance. The most famous building is the Parthenon (pictured here)

The Acropolis ticket costs €20. There are other deals and packages, like a €30 combo ticket including many historical sights in Athens. This is the best tourist deal!

The best time to visit is on a weekday, early in the morning. Pre-order your tickets online to skip the queue. Arrive at the main entrance 30 minutes before the gates open.

The Acropolis opens at 8am. Closing time varies each season, so try arrive before 4 or 5pm to ensure you get to see it!

The Acropolis is only a 22 minute walk from Athens Hub Hostel.
