❗️⚠️ ATTENTION ⚠️❗️ New regulations for tourists in Greece – effective from May 1st! 🔥 MAKE SURE TO READ WHAT AWAITS YOU THIS SUMMER:
According to the latest guidelines from the Greek Ministry of Tourism, the following rules will come into effect from 01/05/2025:
🧴 **No sunbathing before 6 PM – and only with olive oil!** – To prevent uneven tanning and excessive heating of the sand, sunbathing is only allowed after sunset. AND THIS WAY, WE WON’T BE LOOKING FOR ALOE AT THE MORNING EXCURSION! 🥵
🐈⬛ **Greek cats have priority in tavernas** – If you're sitting at a table and a local cat appears, you are obliged to give up your seat and share your meal. 🐈🐱
✈️ **Cheap flights only for those who dance the Zorba at the airport** – Want to get a discount on your ticket? At check-in, you must perform at least three steps of the Zorba dance. Incorrect ex*****on may result in an extra fee for lacking Greek spirit! 👯♀️👯
⏰ **No watches allowed** – Time flows differently in Greece! Tourists are required to ditch their watches and adopt the "siga-siga" philosophy (meaning "slowly, without rushing").
🫏 **Selfie with a donkey? Only with its consent!** – A new law protects Greek donkeys from unwanted paparazzi. If the animal turns its head or snorts, it means it does not wish to be photographed! 🤷🤷🤷
👠 **High heels banned at the Acropolis!** – Bad news for tourists who love wearing stilettos. High heels are strictly forbidden at the Acropolis, and breaking the rule can result in a fine of up to 900 euros! 💸
🇬🇷 **Tourists must learn at least three Greek words before entering the beach** – To enjoy the Greek sun and sea (after 6 PM, of course), every tourist must prove knowledge of three basic words: **"Kalimera" (Good morning), "Efharisto" (Thank you), and "Yamas!" (Cheers!).** ⛱️
⚠️ **Last rule: Believe these regulations only today!** – If you’ve read this far, know that today is… **APRIL FOOLS’ DAY!** 🤭 But…
✅ **One of these rules is actually real and has been in place for many years – which one do you think it is?** 🤔
