In episode 9 of our series, Our Story Through Our People, Antonios Pizanias, General Manager at Mitsis Norida in Kos, reflects on a 22-year journey with Mitsis Group, shaped by trust, determination, and a genuine passion for Greek hospitality.
From joining the Group in 2004 as a young university graduate to taking on his first General Manager role at Mitsis Family Village and eventually returning to where his journey began, Mr. Pizanias recalls the opportunities and defining moments that helped shape his career. For him, hospitality is rooted in genuine care, putting your heart into what you do, understanding each guest’s needs, and expecting nothing in return but a smile.
Through memories of working alongside the late Konstantinos Mitsis, he highlights the importance of trust, teamwork, persistence, and having the courage to grow into new responsibilities. More than two decades later, he describes Mitsis Group as one big family, united by a shared passion for hospitality and always there to support one another.
Looking ahead, Mr. Pizanias reflects on the Group’s continued evolution and the importance of building on its legacy to meet the expectations of future generations, while continuing to create meaningful experiences for every guest.
