Hidden Stories of Kypseli 🐾 If you walk along Fokionos Negri, you'll eventually come across one of Kypseli's most beloved landmarks: the Marble Dog.

Created in 1940 by sculptor Euripides Vavouris for the Municipality of Athens, the statue has become part of the neighbourhood's identity and inspired countless local stories and legends over the decades.
Whatever the truth may be, the Marble Dog remains a small piece of Athens that many visitors walk past without ever knowing its story.
