ropolis and the city historical center with all these world famous ancient treasures, the neighborhood, Koukaki, is a unique area of Athens. Full of life, with lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, bistrots, markets and definitely one of the most favorite areas of artists and young people, was recently distinguished by Airbnb as the no 5 of the areas that have soared in popularity worldwide. Avoiding the hustle and bustle of the city center, Koukaki offers the experience of a traditional Athenian neighborhood together with the proximity to the most important attractions of the city. Parthenon, Acropolis Museum, Dionysus Theater and Plaka are only some of the destinations that make this area the perfect starting point, while Drakou and Olympiou, two pedestrian streets, make it a fantastic place for a wander. Also Philopappou hill, just a block away of the house, gives you the opportunity of your morning jogging, or an alternative walk through the pine trees and the most amazing photos of Acropolis. Just a 5 min walk to "Sygrou -Fix" Metro Station, Bus Station, Tram Station, Hop on - hop off buses and taxi stands. Connected directly to Venizelos Airport, the port of Pireaus, the city center, Faliro marina and coast line of Attica, you can use all transport means to carry you anywhere. But still, since the city historical center and most of attractions are within walking distance, you can enjoy strolling on streets full of history.
