For the 2nd consecutive year, the Municipality of Chania organizes the music and dance event of
"Traditional Strata"
Traditional Strata Opening Day 20-06-2023
The purpose is to highlight the special cultural identity of Chania, through tradition, traditional clothing and the unique musical, dancing and vocal abilities of the members of the clubs, creating unique experiences and lifelong memories for the residents of our city and for our visitors.
Starting on 20/06/2023 and every Tuesday throughout the summer, groups from traditional clubs of Chania, accompanied by traditional musical instruments and artists, will be touring the area of the Venetian port, reviving the "Traditional Strata" with music and songs. The tour will be ending at the Metropolitan
Church Square at 21:00. There the special program - action prepared by the participating club will be taking
place and the audience will be able to dance and sing in a big group of friends.
