Location & Directions
There are two ways to reach the island of Crete:
BY BOAT: From Piraeus port, daily departures to Souda port of Chania or to the port of Heraklion. BY PLANE: There are two international airports on the island: in Chania and in Heraklion. drive to Dramia village). Souda Port of Chania: 25 km (20min. Heraklion Port or Airport: 100 km (70 min. From Chania airport or Souda port: Follow the signs to the highway in the direction of Rethymnon. Take the highway. Upon reaching Georgioupolis exit, decrease your speed. After 5 km you will reach the tourist village of Kavros. Follow the road signs leading into Dramia village. Turn right just before the Silk Petrol Station. Drive up to the first crossroad and then turn left following the sign to Dramia. After 1more km you will reach the village of Dramia. From the village sign and then drive slowly and after 200m at your left hand you will see the yard of Kinder Garden School. There turn left and at the first crossroad turn left again. The Villa is after 10 meters at your right hand behind St. George Church. From airport or harbour of Heraklion: Follow the signs to the highway in the direction of Rethymnon – Chania. Pass all the exits to Rethymnon and continue, headed in the direction Chania. After the exit to Episkopi, decrease your speed. 4 km later, on your right-hand side, you will see a sign marking the end of Rethymnon prefecture. 2 km later you will reach the tourist village of Kavros. Keep your eyes on your left-hand side. Just upon passing the Silk Petrol Station turn left very carefully. Drive up to the first crossroad and then turn left, following the sign to Dramia.
