Iason Studios is a small family business and includes five studios in a two-storey building with a private bathroom, kitchen facilities, and balcony. Located in the historical old town of Chania, on the west side, in the quiet area of "Topanas", with no traffic, just a few meters from the old Venetian harbour; where you can find most of the historical sites of the city as well as many places for e
ntertainment. On the west side, the castle of Firkas, where the Naval Museum lies. (This is the area of IASON STUDIOS.) On the opposite side of the harbour, the Venetian arsenals (shipyards) of the 16th century. There are also other Museums, Exhibitions, Nightlife and Shops. The town never stops to amaze you! As an alternative, you may take day excursions to the unique Samaria Gorge (the biggest in Europe), Kournas Lake, exotic beaches of Elafonisi, Falassarna, Gramvoussa, Balos (where you can take a mini cruise, too). Sail South Crete by Ferry (Chora Sfakion, Agia Roumeli, Sougia). Explore unspoiled villages around Chania, eat their local produce. Of course a visit to Knossos, Archaeological Heraklion Museum is a must. All these and even more make Hania unforgettable. On the other hand, if you prefer to have a break in Hania in wintertime, you have one more reason to come to our studios, as we alone in the whole old town offer central heating. As a matter of fact, November to March rates are negotiable-according to the number of persons and length of stay - because it's quite often to have longer renters during wintertime. So we have a different arrangement in that case, with a major 50% discount per month. This is a usual policy for us since there are many people -like artists from abroad or even many Greeks - that choose to stay in Hania for the wintertime. It is important to mention that you will be provided with any kind of information you may need, as the owners know so many details about the prefecture of Chania and West Crete in general. So, you can easily find your way to sunny beaches, clear waters, very busy or isolated places, and even high mountains with a breathtaking view. Since the studios have been restored by the owners themselves, they have warmth, a relaxed atmosphere, a peaceful ambience; nothing like impersonal hotel rooms.
