In diesem Jahr müssen wir uns in Griechenland noch 1 Woche gedulden, bis das Osterfest begangen wird, denn das katholische und das orthodoxe Osterfest fallen auf verschiedene Termine. Die Osterfeste beider Kirchen werden anhand unterschiedlicher Kalender (gregorianischer/julianischer) errechnet und liegen meistens 1 Woche bis 1 Monat auseinander. Vielleicht sind Sie ja gerade vor Ort und können zweimal Ostern feiern in diesem Jahr.

This year, we in Greece have to wait another week for Easter, as the Catholic and Orthodox Easter celebrations fall on different dates. The Easter dates for both churches are calculated using different calendars (Gregorian/Julian) and are usually one week to one month apart. If you are actually here with us you can celebrate Easter twice this year!

Alle unsere Zimmer sind renoviert!

Im Ostflügel des Haupthauses und im Athina Gebäude wird fleißig gearbeitet, damit wir Ihnen ab diesem Jahr ausschließlich renovierte Zimmer bieten können.

Auf den Bildern sehen Sie als Beispiel die Verwandlung unserer Dreibettzimmer in Superior Comfort Zimmer:

Durch große Schiebeelemente werden die Zimmer heller.

Alle Zimmer haben nun eine Walk in Dusche und individuell regulierbare Klimaanlage.

Der Großteil der Zimmer hat nun ein gläsernes Balkongeländer, so dass Sie den Ausblick bereits aus dem Zimmer heraus genießen können.

Anstatt eines Sessels bieten wir Ihnen nun ein Sofa zum Entspannen, welches für den 3. Gast zum Bett wird.

Wir freuen uns darauf, Sie in der Saison 2026 hier bei uns willkommen heißen zu können.

All our rooms have been renovated!

Work is progressing well in the east wing of the main building and in the Athina building so that we can offer you exclusively renovated rooms from this year onwards.

The pictures show as an example the transformation of our triple rooms into Superior Comfort rooms:

Large sliding doors make the rooms brighter.

All rooms now have a walk-in shower and individually controlled air conditioning.

Most rooms now have glass balcony railings, so you can enjoy the view right from your room.

Instead of an armchair, we now offer a sofa for relaxation, which converts into a bed for a third guest.

We look forward to welcoming you here in the 2026 season.

Die Zimmer bieten Platz für 2-4 Personen in 2 separaten Schlafbereichen (Trennung per Schiebetür), Badezimmer und separate Walk-in Dusche. Bademäntel, Pantoffeln, täglich befüllte Minibar (Wasser, Erfrischungsgetränke, Bier) und Kaffee-/Tee-Station sind im Angebot enthalten.

The rooms accommodate 2-4 people in 2 separate sleeping areas (separated by sliding doors) and offer a bathroom, and a separate walk-in shower. Bathrobes, slippers, a daily restocked minibar (water, soft drinks, beer), and a coffee/tea station are included.

Auszeichnung unseres Hotels mit dem TRAVELIFE GOLD ZERTIFIKAT

Da es uns am Herzen liegt, als Hotel im Einklang mit der Umwelt und unserem sozialen Umfeld zu arbeiten, haben wir uns zur Teilnahme am TRAVELIFE Programm entschieden. Nach Prüfung durch ein externes Unternehmen wurde uns nun das Travelife Gold Zertifikat verliehen, welches genau diese Punkte untersucht.

Sicher kennen Sie alle das Programm zur Wassereinsparung in Hotels, für dass der Gast entscheidet, ob er sein Handtuch noch einmal verwendet, welches auch bei uns zum Einsatz kommt. Aber es gibt noch viel mehr:

Wussten Sie schon, dass....
- wir den Großteil unseres Stromverbrauchs durch unseren eigenen Photovoltaikpark auf den Dächern unserer Anlage decken?
- unsere Kläranlage so hochgerüstet wurde, dass wir das Restwasser ohne Gefahr für den Menschen und die Natur zur Bewässerung unserer Gärten nutzen können?
- wir mehr als 70% unserer Abfälle recyclen? 2024 waren dies ca. 50 Tonnen. (Zero-Waste-Programm 2024).
- wir in Zusammenarbeit mit der lokalen Kirchengemeinde nicht verzehrtes Essen von unseren Buffets an bedürftige Familien der Region weitergeben (No-Food-Waste-Programm / im Monat September 2024 waren dies z.B. 425 Portionen)?
- wir beim Einkauf unserer Produkte auf viele kleine Unternehmen und Landwirte aus der Region setzen (z.B. Zertifikat "Cretan Cuisine" - Hauptrestaurant/Taverne "Elia = Verwendung von mehr als 75% lokaler Produkte)?
- wir alle Essensabfälle zur Produktion von Biogas weitergeben (2024 waren es 60 Tonnen)?
- wir Teile unseres Gartens zum Schutz der Insekten zu Wiesen mit Wildblumen umgestaltet haben?

Und es gibt noch Vieles mehr!

Our hotel received the TRAVELIFE GOLD CERTIFICATE

As it is important to us to operate as a hotel in harmony with the environment and our social community, we have decided to participate in the TRAVELIFE program. After an audit by an external company, we have now been awarded the Travelife Gold Certificate, which examines exactly these points.

You are probably all familiar with the water-saving program in hotels, where guests decide whether to reuse their towel, which we use as well. But there is much more:

Did you know that....
- we cover the majority of our electricity consumption through our own photovoltaic park on the roofs of our facility?
- our sewage treatment plant has been upgraded so that we can use the residual without danger for humans and nature to irrigate our gardens?
- we recycle more than 70% of our waste? In 2024 it was about 50 tons. (Zero-waste program)
- in cooperation with the local church community, we pass on the leftover food from our buffets to needy families in the region (No-food-waste program / in September this was 425 portions)?
- when purchasing our products, we rely on many small businesses and farmers from the region (e.g. "Cretan Cuisine" certificate - main restaurant/tavern "Elia - use of more than 75% of local products)?
- we pass on all food waste to produce biogas (in 2024 it was 60 tons)?
- we have transformed parts of our garden into meadows with wildflowers to protect insects?

Nur 1 Monat ist seit dem Saisonende 2024 vergangen und wir vermissen Sie schon ganz doll!
Hier bei uns gehen die Renovierungsarbeiten zügig voran und wir freuen uns darauf, am 01.04.2025 die neue Saison mit vielen renovierten Zimmern beginnen zu können.

Vermissen Sie uns auch schon ein bisschen?

It's only been 1 month since the end of the 2024 season and we already miss you very much!
The renovation work is progressing quickly here and we are looking forward to starting the new season on 01.04.2025 with many renovated rooms.
