As of April 2026, Corfu and other Greek islands are enforcing strict new beach rules to reduce overcrowding and protect environments. Key changes include a mandatory 4-meter distance between sunbeds and the shoreline, a requirement for 70% of the beach to be free of sunbeds (85% in protected areas), and bans on music and commercial furniture at 250 "untouchable" beaches.

If you’re staying in Kalami and intend to visit Agni Bay, businesses are already in compliance with this rule.
