This is a luxury, ground-floor, 3-bedroom h
ouse with one bathroom and one en-suite WC, as well as a spacious kitchen equipped with all the amenities and dining room. The house is located within a beautiful garden of 1750 m² with orange and lemon trees, roses, jasmines, and hibiscus as well as local herbs. There is no better place to relax and find some peace of mind, listening to the birds' singing, having fresh orange juice or tasting the local wine. The house offers an outdoor barbecue for meatlovers whilst there is a basketball net at the garden for whoever wants to try some shots! Also, there are two bicycles that you can use to explore our beautiful traditional village and seaside! Andreas and Deborah (the hosts) will warmly welcome you with drinks and they will do their best to enjoy your stay and holidays. Just ask us! Our Secret Garden House is located at the small but charming village of Temeni, just 2km away from the town of Aigio. Local shops (mini-markets, bakery, traditional Greek cafes and pharmacy) are only at a distance of 400meters. However, you can find more shops at the town of Aigio. The beach of Temeni is 2km away with clear blue waters and traditional, welcoming taverns. The village and neighborhood surroundings offer great walking and bike routes, whilst a tennis court is only at 100meters from our house. You can also explore more beaches in the suburbs of Aigio and near villages across the coast. As its name protests, the Secret Garden -just off the main road at a deadend route - offers the privacy and peace of a garden away from noisy touristic hubs. Yet, if you want to taste some of the exciting city life, Patras is only 40 km away. Last but not least, the Secret Garden House is located at the foot of the green mountains of Achaia, offering a starting point to important culture, leisure and archaeological sites:
Kalavrita (a WWII martyr city) either by car or local transport, but the great tip is to take the small traditional hiking train from Diakopto called (Teeth-train/odontotos) which climbs up the mountains through breathtaking gorges. Delphi, at the other side of the Corinth gulf, on the mount Parnassos either by car or local transport. You can visit the Apollo sanctuary where Pythia said the oracles as well as its historical museum. Olympia, an impressive historical place where ancient Olympic Games took place originally. The museum and the ancient stadium are a must-see sites! Our house is close to a local bus station to/from the town of Aigio, which runs almost every hour during the morning (more details upon arrival).
