From 1–4 December 2025, Elounda Collection returns to ILTM Cannes, presenting the timeless elegance of three of Greece’s most iconic luxury resorts on the world’s premier stage for high-end travel.

Ilias Kokotos, Director of Business Development and Member of the Board, contributed to the panel “Hoteliers: Guardians of Destination”, alongside:

Farewell to a remarkable colleague and friend.

Today, our CEO and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Eliana Kokotos, together with the entire Elounda Collection family, bid farewell to Vasilis Stamatelopoulos.

For the past 16 years, Vasilis has been the Reservations Director of our three hotels, contributing immensely to our growth, excellence, and spirit. As he now embarks on a well-deserved retirement, we celebrate not only his professionalism and vision but also his kindness, dedication, and true love for our Elounda family.

With great success, the 6th Cretan Street Cooking Festival was held in Agios Nikolaos.
This year’s event was dedicated to the memory of Spyros Kokotos, a true pioneer of tourism in Crete and in Greece.

The Mayor of Agios Nikolaos presented a commemorative plaque to his son, Fotis S. Kokotos , in recognition of Spyros Kokotos’ invaluable contribution to tourism and the local community.

The Deputy Mayor of Tourism, Mr. Manousos Pediaditis, delivered a tribute speech, highlighting the milestones of his life and his long-standing legacy in establishing Crete as a leading destination.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Spyros Kokotos, pioneer of Greek tourism and co-founder of the Elounda Collection, together with his beloved wife, Eliana.

A visionary architect, Spyros transformed Elounda into one of the world’s most renowned destinations. Together with Eliana, he created not just hotels, but places with soul – defined by authenticity, warmth, and true hospitality.

For all of us at the Elounda Collection, he was more than a founder. He was a mentor, an inspiration, and a constant reminder that excellence is built on values, dedication, and care for people.

His legacy will continue to guide us, and our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
