Arhontiko Ermoupolis (located on 15, Vafeiadaki Str.) Because of its important neoclassical architecture, it is listed by the Greek Ministry of Culture as a protected historical monument. Originally built as a house for one of the richest families of Syros, it still preserves its aristocratic authenticity. Among other architectural features, there are two handmade frescos at the ceilings of the lobby and the main veranda. The majority of the furniture consists of antiques manufactured on Syros
