Our Apartments are built in two buildings. General information of Welcome Apts and the Area. Welcome Apts based at the area of Exopolis, 1600meters from Georgioupolis Town. First Building is approximately 250 sqm, offering three Apartments and one Family Apartment at the Ground floor. Four Apartments at the first floor and Three Apartments at the second floor. Second building is aprox. 400 sqm, offering a Reception, four family Apartments at the ground floor and another four Family Apartments plus an Apartment at the First floor. Georgioupolis (the small touristic town, where we are physically located) is a well-known touristic town who belong to the Municipality of Apokoronas, Chania Prefecture. You will find all that you might need in a distance of 1600 up to 2000meters from Welcome Apts. Super markets and stores open daily from 8.00 a.m. to 10.30 p.m., including weekends. The petrol station is open daily from 7.00 a.m. Bakery and butcher shops are open daily from 8.00 a.m. to 8 p.m. The pharmacy stays open daily from 9.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. The local medical doctor can be found at his office during most of the days. In case of emergency, you can also call him at his mobile phone; the number is written at the door of his office. Car rental and bike rental offices and the bookstore are open from 9.00 a.m. until late at night. There are two ways to reach the island of Crete:
BY BOAT: From Piraeus port, daily departures to Souda port of Chania or to the port of Heraklion. BY PLANE: There are two international airports on the island: in Chania and in Heraklion. DISTANCES
Chania Airport: 45 km (45 min. drive to Exopolis). Souda Port of Chania: 30km (20min. Heraklion Port or Airport: 106 km (80 min. From Chania airport or Souda port: Follow the signs to the highway in the direction of Rethymnon. Take the highway. Take the exit to Georgioupolis exit Enter the town, follow the signs to Exopolis. After the bridge drive for about 1500 meters and you will see Welcome Apts at your left. From airport or harbour of Heraklion: Follow the signs to the highway in the direction of Rethymnon – Chania. Pass all the exits to Rethymnon and continue, headed in the direction Chania. Pass the exit to Episkopi, 2 km later pass the touristic village of Kavros. Drive for another 3km. Keep your eyes on your right-hand side. There is an exit just at Gregorys café there turn right to enter Georgioupolis. Follow the signs to Exopolis. Google Maps Coordinates
