Born in Mytilene and now based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, artist .nianiou brings a new series of five paintings at Good Chemistry.

Viktoria Nianiou works across painting, drawing and ceramics. Trained as a civil engineer in Athens, she went on to study fine art in Granada and Peru. Her Lesvos roots and years spent between South America and Spain shape a practice built around travel, landscape and the idea of the exotic.

Say hello to your new Sunday ritual at Sebastian, starting this week. Eggs, pancakes and everything in between, good coffee and matcha, and one of our resident DJs easing you into the afternoon. Brunch from 11:00 and a DJ in the mix from 12:00 to 17:00.

This was us last Sunday. A day well spent.

We started at the Stavros Niarchos Park with a tour by Liberto Dario, learning about the plants that make up the world’s largest public Mediterranean garden at SNFCC. Then back to the lobby of Ace Hotel Athens, where Vincent T of Kataïs Athens guided everyone through building their own floral bouquet. It was a curious, hands-on and easy-going afternoon, and we all went home with flowers. Manifesting more of this.

Pick your mood this Saturday. On the ground floor, Sebastian takes you back to the dance halls of the 1920s, 30s and 40s. Jeepers Creepers play swing and jazz in the spirit of Fats Waller, with Alkistis Lampropoulou on vocals, George Anamateros on keys and vocals, and George Bikos on double bass.

Alternatively, head up to our rooftop for Vinyl in the Sky at Sora. Our resident DJ BAKERMAN brings his mix of records, playing funky disco and house, as you enjoy Pan-Asian bites, signature cocktails or sake, and the sunset over the Athenian Riviera.

Tourist Ath brought his latest project, 'Heartbreak Hotel', up to our fifth floor on Saturday, and Sora, our rooftop restaurant, played host. The rain cleared just in time, the Riviera stayed in view all evening, and all of you showed up for a good time.
