The kitchen is a creative space of the farm, an extension of the garden. It’s the place where the freshness of the garden turns into creative dishes, and the abundance of the produce turns into preserves that will last through the winter.

Our kitchen is part of the Womb Lounge — same inspiring architecture, closeness with our guests, view to nature, a cozy and homey environment. Our cooking is inspired by nature and reflects the warmth of Greek homesteading.

Η κουζίνα: ο χώρος όπου όλοι θέλουν να βρίσκονται. Είτε μέσα — δημιουργώντας με ό,τι προσφέρει ο κήπος, είτε έξω — απολαμβάνοντας γεύσεις και ιστορίες γύρω από το φαγητό.

Είναι ένας δημιουργικός χώρος της φάρμας, προέκταση του κήπου μας. Εδώ τα φρέσκα λαχανικά του κήπου μετατρέπονται σε φίνα πιάτα κι η αφθονία της σοδειάς διατηρείται σε βάζα για τον χειμώνα.

Ο Αύγουστος είναι για τον Αυγουστιάτη — και το Αθήρι, και την Κυδωνίτσα. Οι τρεις ποικιλίες μας ωριμάζουν μαζί, τρυγιούνται μαζί, και πιέζονται κατευθείαν μαζί.

Δεν υπάρχουν ξεχωριστές δεξαμενές, ούτε γίνεται η ανάμειξη μετά — είναι ένα «field blend», ένα χαρμάνι που διαμορφώνεται στο χωράφι, όπως γίνεται εδώ ανέκαθεν.

Το αποτέλεσμα; Ένα ροζέ φρέσκο, φρουτώδες, λίγο ατίθασο — ακριβώς σαν τον αμπελώνα από όπου βγήκε.

It’s easy to say. Here’s how to feel it, wherever you’re staying:

🌱 Take a walk in the garden before dinner. See what’s actually growing — it’ll probably be on your plate tonight.

🍅 Ask the staff what’s in season. The best ones light up when you ask. They’ll tell you about the tree, the field, the morning it was picked.

🥦 Notice if the menu breathes with the seasons. Real farm cooking changes its rhythm — tomatoes in August, greens in winter. That’s the tell.

🐓 Ask where the leftovers go. The ones who close the circle — compost, animals, the soil again — are the ones truly living it.

At eumelia, we love guiding you through the garden ourselves. The houses were built once — the garden is a daily effort. Every fruit it gives is a satisfaction for us, and we proudly present it to the dinner table.

Το ακούς όλο και πιο συχνά. Να όμως πώς να το καταλάβεις και εσύ:

🌱 Κάνε μια βόλτα στον κήπο πριν το δείπνο. Δες τι φυτρώνει αυτή την εποχή — μάλλον θα το βρεις απόψε στο πιάτο σου.

🫒 Ρώτα το προσωπικό τι είναι της εποχής. Όσο πιο πολύ ενέργεια έχουν βάλει για τον κήπο τους τόσο πιο πολύ χαίρονται με τον ενδιαφέρον των επισκεπτών . Θα σου πουν για το δέντρο, το χωράφι, την σοδιά της ημέρας και πως τα να μαγειρέψεις μόνος σου!

🍅 Πρόσεξε αν το μενού αναπνέει με τις εποχές. Η αληθινή κουζίνα από τη γη αλλάζει ρυθμό — ντομάτες τον Αύγουστο, χόρτα τον χειμώνα. Θα αναθεωρήσεις και εσύ την επόμενη φορά που θα πας να αγοράσεις μπρόκολο τον Αύγουστο...

🌾 Ρώτα πού καταλήγουν τα βρώσιμα υπολείμματα. Όσοι κλείνουν τον κύκλο — κομπόστ, ζώα, πίσω στο χώμα — αυτοί το ζουν φουλ!

1. Monemvasia: A medieval fortress town located on a small island off the east coast of Laconia. Stroll through its narrow cobbled streets past old churches and picture-perfect shops and restaurants

2. Mystras: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Byzantine city is located near Sparta. Explore the well-preserved ruins, including palaces, churches, and monasteries.

3. Gythio: A picturesque coastal town with neoclassical houses. Enjoy fresh seafood at local tavernas, visit the ancient theatre, and relax on Mavrovouni Beach or Valtaki Beach with the imposing shipwreck

4. Areopoli: A charming, traditional town of the Mani Peninsula with stone-built houses and cobbled-paved streets. Visit the historic Church of Taxiarhes , enjoy the local cuisine and the relaxed ambience

We love olives. And we love sharing that with people from all around the world.

The olive harvest retreat is a few days on the farm during harvest season — working the grove, watching the press run, and bringing home oil you actually made. The trees are over 2,000 years old. The oil goes straight from press to bottle while you’re standing there.

It’s one of those experiences that’s hard to explain but easy to remember.

Αγαπάμε τις ελιές. Και αγαπάμε να το μοιραζόμαστε αυτό με ανθρώπους με το ίδιο πάθος για την διατροφή και την φύση!

Κάθε φθινόπωρο ένα retreat σε γυρνά στις ρίζες και την ιστορία της ελληνικής υπαίθρου: στο μάζεμα της ιερής ελιάς. Για πέντε μέρες κοιμάσαι και ξυπνάς σε έναν αρχαίο ελαιώνα, μαζεύεις ελιές από δέντρα 2.000 ετών και παρακολουθείς όλη τη διαδικασία στο ελαιοτριβείο. Μαθαίνεις να χρησιμοποιείς το ελαιόλαδο για να θρέψεις το σώμα σου μέσα και έξω.

Το λάδι πηγαίνει κατευθείαν από την πρέσα στο μπουκάλι — ενώ εσύ στέκεσαι εκεί.
