Each of the five autonomous cottages comfortably sleeps between 2-4, has an equipped kitchenette (stove-top,lightly stocked fridge and pantry, dinnerware...), a dining area, desk and bathroom. Each cottage has 2 or more private decks, lawn and parking area; while all guests are welcome to grill on the outdoor barbecue, gather fresh herbs and vegetables for their meals from the kitchen garden and pick ripened fruit from the Estate's Orchard. For outdoor recreation lovers -in addition to enjoying water sports in the deep blue ocean and strolling along the 5-km-long sandy beach- guests may walk, run, cycle (complimentary bicycles are at guests' disposal) and/ or horseback ride (for a fee) on the 2.5 km on-site track or hike the 800m marked trail that separates Ktima Petalea and Mavrovouni Beach from neighbouring Vathi Beach. Guests yearning for a bit more rest and relaxation can avail themselves of the complimentary beach umbrellas and lounge chairs surf-side, as well as, enjoy refreshments and snacks from the cafe/ bar located on -site. Although we strive to meet most of our visitors' needs, we do encourage them to discover and enjoy the surrounding sights and attractions, including strolling along the boardwalk in the nearby, picturesque port town of Gytheio; taking a drive through the stark, rugged beauty of Inner Mani and stopping for a swim or meal at one of the fishing villages along the way; walking through the narrow, cobblestone streets of Areopoli. For those wishing to venture further afield, we suggest day excursions to breathtaking Elafonisos and historic Monemvasia.
