Situated 12km southwest of the city of Heraklion and barely 3 km outside the traditional Cretan village of Tylissos, motivated by imaginative zest and striving to maintain our respect towards its natural surroundings, we built ESTATE KARES, a four star, luxurious resort. The estate spreads over 50 acres, far from urban noise and overly crowded tourist designations. ESTATE KARES lies in the midst o

f thick greenery, overwhelmed by various kinds of trees including olive groves, orange groves, chestnut trees and vines all the while partaking in the rough, steep beauty of Goniano Canyon. The sea, just a stone's throw away, flavours the vertical cliffs, the enchanting view and the constant change of scenery with its salty breeze thus creating a pure and typical Cretan image. Estate Kares is ideal, not only for relaxation and tours around the island of Crete, but also for those who want to associate their holidays with professional or other obligations. The city of Heraklion, the University of Crete, the university Hospital of Heraklion, the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH - ITE) and also the Mediterranean Holiday Dialysis Center (Mesogeios) are easily accessible by car, making Estate Kares an ideal place for all your needs. Access to Estate Kares is very easy as it is situated very close to the Heraklion City and its airport. From the airport of Heraklion, you will follow the highway towards Rethymnon. After passing by the city of Heraklion, you will see a right exit to Gazi / Anogeia / Tylissos. From there on, you will follow the road signs to Tylissos and Estate Kares. Just one kilometer before Tylissos Village, you will turn left and a small serpentine road will lead you to our property.
