What a night! Our Mid-Season Party was one to remember. 🎉

Amid the busy pace of a challenging season, we took a well-deserved break and came together simply to enjoy each other’s company.
What made the evening truly special was that it was created by our own people. From Simone’s beautiful decorations, which transformed the courtyard of our head office into the perfect party setting, to the colleagues who took charge of the barbecue, to John Badouvas’ excellent DJ set that kept the energy high and the dance floor full, every contribution reflected the teamwork, creativity, and enthusiasm that define our company. And behind the scenes, countless others helped bring the event to life, proving once again what can be achieved when we come together.
Great food and drinks, uplifting music, laughter, dancing and, of course, our traditional karaoke contest kept the good vibes going well into the night.
Judging by the smiles on everyone’s faces, we all enjoyed every minute of it. One thing is certain: this is definitely a tradition worth repeating! 💙

Update on the Wildfires in Southern Crete

In response to the wildfires near Agia Galini in Southern Crete, our teams acted swiftly and in close coordination with local partners to support affected guests throughout the evacuation process. We are pleased to confirm that all guests remained safe, no injuries were reported, and those affected were successfully relocated to alternative accommodation.
While firefighting efforts continue further west, conditions in the Agia Galini area have improved and the gradual return of tourists to their accommodations is already ongoing.

Situations such as these activate our Crisis Management Plan, which has been continuously strengthened through years of experience managing emergency situations, including previous wildfires in Ierapetra, Rhodes and Corfu. This preparedness allows our teams to respond quickly, efficiently and with a clear focus on the wellbeing of our guests.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our Customer Service, Commercial depts, Operations and local Representative teams, as well as our hotel partners, for their professionalism, responsiveness and outstanding cooperation. Their coordinated efforts ensured the smooth management of guest relocations, arrivals and departures during a particularly challenging situation.
Our thoughts are with the local communities affected by the fires, and we extend our deepest sympathies following the loss of the two firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty.

We also wish to thank the firefighters, civil protection teams, volunteers and emergency personnel for their tireless efforts under extremely challenging conditions.

As recovery efforts continue, we remain in close contact with local authorities, partners and guests, providing support wherever needed. The safety and wellbeing of our guests will always remain our highest priority.

Νέα Εκπροσώπηση της Cretan Holidays στο Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο του ACTTA.

Με χαρά ανακοινώνουμε ότι η κα. Δέσποινα Μπαντουβά εξελέγη μέλος του νέου Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου του Συνδέσμου Τουριστικών και Ταξιδιωτικών Γραφείων Κρήτης (ACTTA), αναλαμβάνοντας τη θέση της Γενικής Γραμματέως.

Η κα. Μπαντουβά διαδέχεται τον κ. Κωστά Ι. Μπαντουβά, ο οποίος υπηρέτησε τον Σύνδεσμο με αφοσίωση και ουσιαστική προσφορά για σειρά ετών, συμβάλλοντας καθοριστικά στο έργο και τη θεσμική του ενίσχυση.
Η εκλογή του νέου Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου του ACTTA πραγματοποιήθηκε με απόλυτη ομοφωνία, επιβεβαιώνοντας την ενότητα και τη συναίνεση των μελών, ενώ ο κ. Μιχάλης Βλατάκης επανεξελέγη στη θέση του Προέδρου.

Ως ένας από τους μακροβιότερους και πλέον καταξιωμένους DMCs στην Κρήτη και στην Ελλάδα, η Cretan Holidays, με παρουσία 54 ετών, διατηρεί διαχρονικά ενεργό ρόλο στις συλλογικές δράσεις του τουριστικού κλάδου, εντός και εκτός Κρήτης, συμβάλλοντας ουσιαστικά στη θεσμική ανάπτυξη και τη βιώσιμη εξέλιξη του ελληνικού τουρισμού.
