"Just returned from a wonderful week at Dimitra's Vintage Yard, Agia Pelagia. As per the other reviews, Maria and family have created a fantastic home from home. They have thought of everything. The house is so well equipped with all you could possibly need and tastefully decorated with some really lovely pieces from their family history. The highlight however, is the warm welcome from Maria who treats you like one of her family - spoiling us with delicious home-made treats and readily available for advice and information, without intrusion e.g. Maria sorted the 30 min taxi transfers to/ from Heraklion airport for us for a decent price and no stress. The house is in a residential back street, only 5 mins walk from Agia Pelagia beach and a decent choice of bars and restaurants. There are a further 2 bays to visit within a 25 minute walk in either direction (Ligaria and Mononaftis). For car hire we used CarSpot (just round the corner, by the beach) who offer a fully insured, small car for about 40euros a day, if you want to venture further afield. It was a pleasure to meet Maria, stay in her beautiful house, and enjoy the garden. We were very sad to leave and would happily recommend Dimitra's Vintage Yard to others."

Proud and satisfied when you meet positive and smiling people who becomes friends!!

To put it simply, this is as good as AirBNB gets. Emmanouel and Maria were exceptional to deal with before we arrived in Agia Pelagia - making sure we had all the information we needed to checkin smoothly. And it only got better when we arrived. Maria met us at the bus stop and drove us to the house - which is exactly like the photos, only better. The garden is stunning; quiet, secluded and meticulously maintained with fresh fruit and vegetables available to pick. The outdoor furniture is perfect for sitting and dining outside, and could easily accommodate 4-6 people. The inside of the house is just as exceptional: the kitchen has everything you need (literally everything), the two bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, and the bathroom, whilst small, is nice. In addition, it has great wifi, a large washing machine and is in a quiet, safe area. Beyond the house itself, the hospitality shown by Maria & Emmanouel blew us away. When we arrived there was a large assortment of fresh baked treats, fresh juices, milk and other condiments - more than enough for the two of us! And throughout our 8-days there, they were on hand to answer any questions and make sure everything was fine. To top it off, they also left a surprise for my partner when they found out it was her 30th birthday! Thank you Emmanouel and Maria for making our stay so memorable. We would highly, highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Crete!

Wow! Best Airbnb experience yet. The host was more than helpful. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to escape near the beach. Great for all types of travellers. The property was amazing. Hope to be back soon!

Our garden!

Уют, комфорт, забота к любым мелочам курортного быта - все это нас ожидало в этом небольшом домике с садом в АГИА ПЕЛАГИЯ. Красивая лагуна, теплое море, чистый песок. А по вечерам барбекю из средиземноморской рыбы, салаты из свежих овощей, белое критское вино. Большая компания, дети, взрослые, потому что все наши друзья из 5-ти звездочного отеля КАПСИС предпочитали проводить вечера вместе с нами за большим столом в нашем саду. А каким превосходным лимончело нас угостила хозяйка... Спасибо вам, Мария и Димитра за ваше гостеприимство!
