B&B, Experiences, Adventures, Yoga My name is Gabriella, and I am an artist and a Yoga teacher. In 2013 I decided to move to Crete.

I am half Greek and half German before moving to Crete, I lived in Italy. My family and I arrived at this place exactly 40 years ago. In 1975, my sister and I were children; we had just left East - Berlin, where we lived. Here at Palaiokastro, my father Wassili fell in love with a piece of land and decided to build a hotel and a Tavern in the same year. It became a charming construction full of magic corners.

Ab 21. März starten wir in die Saison und suchen mitdenkende, flexible Helfer*innen!

Aufräumen & gestalten unseres Platzes

Gartenarbeit & Pflanzenpflege

Zimmer & Gemeinschaftsräume sauber halten

Essen für uns (und vielleicht Gäste) zubereiten

Eigene Ideen einbringen, vielleicht für den ganzen Sommer

🎄 Christmas at Gabriella’s Garden 🎄
Palaiokastro, Crete

On December 24th (7pm), 25th(12pm) & 26th (11am) we invite you to celebrate Christmas with us around a warm, generous table.

For 30 € per person (including ½ liter of wine, water & raki) you can enjoy a Mediterranean-style Christmas feast — homemade, hearty, colorful and full of love.

🍽️ What can you expect?
A joyful mix of flavors and traditions:
Seafood, slow-roasted pork, lasagna, oven dishes, rösti, grandma-style fried potatoes, and fresh salad from our garden — all inspired by the season, the market and the mood of the day.

No fixed menu, no stiffness — just good food, shared plates, cozy vibes and beautiful hours together.
Come hungry and let yourself be surprised 😉

Weihnachtsfeier in Gabriella's Garden, am 24. 25. und 26. Dezember 🩷

Am 24. laden wir ab 19 Uhr ein zu einem gemütlichen Treffen, mit Geschichten, Musik und gutem Essen.

Am 25. laden wir auf ein schönes Weihnachts-Essen zum Mittag ein, ab 12 Uhr.

Und am 26. laden wir ab 11 Uhr auf einen Weihnachts-Brunch ein.

Preis für jedes Essen pro Person 30 Euro, 1/2 Liter Wein, Wasser, Tee und Raki inklusive.

Wer bei uns übernachten möchte, hat dazu die Gelegenheit, ein Einzelzimmer für 30 Euro pro Nacht, das Doppelzimmer 45.

Bitte gebt bis zum 24.(früh) Bescheid 🤓ob ihr dabei seid!

Bringt wer will Schwimmsachen und Wanderstiefel mit. Wir sind 100 Meter vom Strand entfernt, und haben die Berge auch gleich um die Ecke. Also wer möchte kann schwimmen und wandern, oder Heraklion einen Besuch abstatten.
