It is located on the first floor with a nice view which can be enjoyed from all the rooms of the house.This was the old residence of the famous Nicolaos Votsis, a Greek naval officer who distinguished himself during the Balkan Wars and rose to the rank of Rear Admiral.My grand-grand mother bought this mansion from Votsis family and now the owner is my beloved father Captain Lefteris.After the renovation and this residence has been separated to two beautiful apartments. The apartment is ideal for families or couples who want to spend their summer holidays in Hydra island and explore it's beauties!!The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms and one bathroom.The one room can also be used as a dining room as there is a table for 4 people.You can also enjoy your meals on the beautiful terrace. One also useful information is that the house is approximately 3 to 4 minutes walking close to the famous Leonard Norman Cohen's house.Hydra was the musician and poet’s spiritual and physical home in his 20s, and many places here are still tied to his presence – a source of pride for the local inhabitants, who are gearing up to honour him throughout next year. The tiny island in the Argosaronikos has been defined by the great singer-songwriter’s time here. By the port, Roloi Cafe once known as the kafenion O Katsikas, is where Cohen and a generation of artists and bohemians hung out. The house manager will meet guests in the harbor, es**rt them and show them around the house. The manager will also arrange for donkeys, if needed, to carry guests luggage to the house. Guests are responsible for the fee of 15 euros per donkey. Don' t hesitate to ask me more questions and make your stay the most amazing one!
