Greet each morning with a continental breakfast that includes some locally-grown produce (delicious preserves prepared by our Aunty Mary from the fruits that grow on her sun-soaked land in Santorini); served by us in your own private quarters. Our concept is simple. We are here to host your needs, and you are here to enjoy your stay! Ayoba is not a formal word. It’s a made-up one that originates from the townships of South Africa where it’s used to express appreciation of good dancing! It is slang for “cool, alright, ok” (or any other expression of approval!). In Zulu, it means “will be”. Ayoba is a feel-good word. It takes us to our happy place. A place that’s more than alright actually, better then cool: our ravishing slice of Santorini. We have toiled passionately for years for what “will be” and the result is our Ayoba. Come share it with us and create your own special meaning of the word. After all everyone’s entitled to their Ayoba time! (Now why Ayoba in Santorini? Well quite simply, because we’re from South Africa with Greek roots that landed luckily in Santorini…. And we think that’s pretty Ayoba!)
