A quieter side of Corfu, where the sea meets untouched nature. 🌿🌊

Where is Prasoudi Beach located?
Prasoudi lies on the southwest coast of Corfu, near Agios Matthaios village, away from the busier tourist areas.

What makes Prasoudi different from other beaches?
Its peaceful atmosphere. It’s not crowded, not overly developed — just a long stretch of natural beauty with a relaxed vibe.

Is it sandy or pebbly?
It’s mostly sandy with some darker, earthy tones — quite unique compared to the typical white or golden beaches on the island.

How is the sea there?
Usually calm, shallow in parts and perfect for easy swimming. The water is clean and inviting, ideal for slow summer days.

Are there sunbeds and facilities?
There are some organized spots with sunbeds and umbrellas, but the beach still keeps a natural, laid-back feel.

Is it easy to access?
Yes. You can drive close to the beach, and parking is usually easier compared to more popular locations.

What can you do there besides swimming?
Relax under the sun, take long walks along the shore, enjoy the quiet or simply disconnect — it’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down.

Are there places to eat nearby?
Yes, a few traditional tavernas in the area serve fresh local dishes, often just steps from the sea. 🍽️

Is it a good sunset spot?
Definitely. Being on the west coast, Prasoudi offers beautiful sunsets with warm colors reflecting on the calm water. 🌅

Is it close to anything interesting?
Agios Matthaios village is nearby, and you can also explore the wider southwest coast with other quiet beaches and scenic drives.

A quiet square where time slows down… and Corfu whispers its stories. 🌿
Where is this hidden square in Corfu?
This is Kremasti Square, tucked inside the Old Town — one of those places you don’t plan to find, but remember forever.
Why is it called “Kremasti”?
The name is believed to come from the nearby church of Panagia Kremasti, adding a layer of historical and religious significance to the area.
What makes this square so special?
Its simplicity. A historic stone well at the center, pastel buildings around it, and a calm atmosphere that feels untouched by time.
Is this a popular tourist spot?
Not really — and that’s exactly its charm. While most visitors stay on the main streets, Kremasti Square offers a quieter, more authentic side of Corfu.
What is that stone structure in the middle?
It’s an old Venetian well, once essential for daily life in the neighborhood and now a beautiful reminder of the past.
Why do the buildings look so unique?
They reflect Corfu’s Venetian heritage — soft colors, wooden shutters and subtle architectural details that age beautifully over time.
Is it worth visiting if you’re already in the Old Town?
Definitely. It’s just a short walk away from the busier spots, but feels like a completely different world.
What’s the best way to find it?
Get lost. Wander through the kantounia and let curiosity guide you — discovering places like this is part of the Corfu experience. 🧭
Is it a good place for photos?
Yes, especially if you love authentic, atmospheric shots without crowds. The textures, colors and light create a unique setting. 📸
When is the best time to visit?
Morning or late afternoon, when the light is soft and the square feels even more peaceful.
What should you do once you get there?
Pause. Sit for a moment, look around and take in the details — this is where you truly feel the rhythm of the Old Town.
Is Kremasti Square about what you see… or how it makes you feel? 💙

A path, a view… and then Rovinia reveals itself. 🌿

Where exactly is Rovinia Beach?
Rovinia is located on Corfu’s west coast, near Liapades village, not far from Paleokastritsa — one of the island’s most beautiful coastal areas.

Why does everyone talk about the view on the way down?
Because the descent itself is part of the experience. As you walk through olive trees and greenery, the bay slowly appears below — calm, turquoise and framed by cliffs.

Is it easy to get there?
You’ll need to walk. After parking near the main road, there’s a 10–15 minute downhill path. It’s not difficult, but comfortable shoes definitely help. 👟

Is the walk worth it?
More than worth it. The first full view of the bay, just like in this photo, is one of those moments that make you pause and take it all in. 📸

What kind of beach is Rovinia?
A small, secluded cove with white pebbles, crystal-clear water and impressive rock formations surrounding it.

Is the water really that clear?
Yes — Rovinia is known for its deep turquoise shades and incredible clarity, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. 🩵

Is it organized with sunbeds and bars?
No, and that’s part of its charm. It’s a more natural, untouched beach, so it’s a good idea to bring water, snacks and anything else you might need.

Does it get crowded?
In peak summer, yes — but if you come early in the morning or later in the afternoon, you can enjoy a much more peaceful atmosphere.

Are there any hidden spots nearby?
Yes. If you explore the rocks or swim along the coast, you’ll find small caves and quieter corners away from the main beach.

Can you reach it by boat?
You can, and it’s a popular stop for small boats exploring the west coast — offering a completely different perspective of the bay. 🚤

What’s close to Rovinia Beach?
Liapades village is nearby for traditional tavernas, and Paleokastritsa is just a short drive away with more beaches, viewpoints and boat rentals.

Is Rovinia just a beach… or an experience? 💙
