That’s exactly why people end up loving it.
It’s not polished like the bigger parts of Crete 🇬🇷.
No big resorts. No over-designed beach clubs.
Just a proper town — locals, small cafés ☕, quiet beaches 🌊 where you can actually hear yourself think.
Nothing forced. No nonsense.
After a couple of days, something shifts. You slow down without noticing.
Coffee takes longer. Meals stretch 🍽️. You stop checking the time.
And when you leave… you kind of wish you didn’t.
