Die Pension und Taverna Faros hat ein Restaurant direkt am Wasser mit traditioneller griechisch-mediteraner Küche und vermietet Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick. Das Faros liegt ruhig auf einer Halbinsel am Ende einer Sackgasse, so dass Ruhesuchende hier die perfekte Idylle finden. Es

sind nur wenige Minuten zum Hafen und zur Hauptstrasse, an der man abends flanieren kann. Das Faros hat auch direkt am Meer Sonnenschirme und Liegen, die man tagsüber kostenlos nutzen und auf denen man sich sonnen und ausruhen kann, und bei denen man über eine kleine Steintreppe bequem in das kristallklare Wasser gelangen und baden kann. Dazu kann man das leckere hausgemachte Frühstück oder andere Gerichte genießen, und auch das kostenlose W-Lan nutzen. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, sich nach einem Gang ins traumhafte Meer abzuduschen. Abends werden die Liegen und Sonnenschirme einfach abgebaut und Tische hingestellt so dass man bei einem romantischen Ausblick das exzellente Abendessen und den guten messinischen Wein geniessen kann. Vielleicht ist das Faros einer der schönsten Plaetze in der ganzen Mani und bewahrt immer noch die Seele des alten Griechenlands. The board and Taverna Faros has a waterfront restaurant with traditional Greek and Mediterranean cuisine rented rooms with balconies and sea views. The sea views over the bay and the imposing Taygetos mountain range is the most beautiful in all of Agios Nikolaos. Faros is quietly located on a peninsula at the end of a dead end, so that peace seekers find the perfect idyll. There are only a few minutes from the port and the main street, where you can stroll in the evening. Faros also has oceanfront sun loungers and parasols that you can use for free during the day and where you can sunbathe and relax and where you can easily reach and bathe a small stone staircase into the crystal clear water. In addition one can enjoy the delicious homemade breakfast or other meals, and make use of the free Wi-Fi. There is also the opportunity to shower after a transition into the wonderful sea. In the evening the sun beds and umbrellas are easily removed and tables put down so that you can enjoy the excellent dinner and good Messinian wine with a romantic view. Perhaps that is one of the most beautiful places in Faros around Mani and still preserves the soul of ancient Greece.
