Today we are enjoying a wonderful day at Paralia Katerinis, together with our dear guests from Austria, who are staying at the beautiful Dakis Luxury Apartments. The sea is calm, the sun is warm, and the hospitality, as always, is exceptional.

A very special moment was added to our day by Rebekka, one of the guests, who is lovingly and skillfully creating a handcrafted model of the Church of Agia Fotini using plaster. This unique piece of art, made with care and respect, is intended as a gift for Dakis Luxury Apartments—a heartfelt token of appreciation for the warm hospitality she has received.

I thank her deeply for this touching gesture, which proves that when hospitality meets creativity, beautiful memories and strong bonds are created.

Today was one of those days that are hard to forget. I went up to Olympus, to the Orlia stream, with Petrol and a friend of his, to cool off and enjoy nature. The scenery was magical — lush greenery everywhere, the sounds of water and birds in absolute harmony.

We swam in the crystal clear waters of the stream, under small waterfalls and in natural “pools” that the water had sculpted over the years. The water was icy, but refreshing — at first it takes your breath away, but then you don’t want to get out.

We laughed a lot, exchanged stories and simply... left everyday life behind us. It was an escape that gave us energy, rest and beautiful memories....
