🌊💙 Together for a Cleaner Sea!

Yesterday at Mare Blue Crete , our guests and team came together for our underwater sea clean-up, removing waste from the seabed and helping to protect the beautiful sea we all enjoy.

A big THANK YOU to all our wonderful guests who participated, our Framissima and Alltoura Animation teams, lifeguards and hotel staff for their enthusiasm and valuable help!

Special thanks to our Lifegueard Kostas, the entire Watersports team of Long Beach Parasailing and Emmanouela Skoulikari & Dimitra Lagoutari from Optimum ES for their support and contribution to this initiative.

It was wonderful to see everyone working together, both in and out of the water, for something that matters to all of us.

Ένα τεράστιο ΕΥΧΑΡΙΣΤΩ από το Mare Blue Crete & Mare Village 🙏

Μετά τα πρωτοφανή καιρικά φαινόμενα και τις πλημμύρες που έπληξαν την Ιεράπετρα και την ευρύτερη περιοχή, αισθανόμαστε την ανάγκη να πούμε ένα μεγάλο και ειλικρινές ΕΥΧΑΡΙΣΤΩ σε όλους όσοι βοήθησαν με οποιονδήποτε τρόπο αυτές τις δύσκολες ώρες.
Στην Πυροσβεστική, την Ελληνική Αστυνομία, το Λιμενικό Σώμα, την Πολιτική Προστασία, τον Δήμο Ιεράπετρας, τη Δημοτική Αστυνομία, τον Ελληνικό Ερυθρό Σταυρό και όλους τους εθελοντές, που βρέθηκαν από την πρώτη στιγμή όπου υπήρχε ανάγκη.
Ένα ιδιαίτερα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ αξίζει επίσης σε όλο το προσωπικό του Mare Blue Crete & Mare Village, καθώς και στις ομάδες Animation Framissima & Alltoura, που παρά τις εξαιρετικά δύσκολες συνθήκες ήταν παρόντες και βοήθησαν με κάθε δυνατό τρόπο — για την ασφάλεια και την εξυπηρέτηση των επισκεπτών μας, αλλά και για την αντιμετώπιση των προβλημάτων που προκάλεσε η κακοκαιρία στις εγκαταστάσεις μας.
Η βοήθεια, η συνεργασία και η διάθεση όλων ήταν πραγματικά πολύτιμες.
Ευχόμαστε δύναμη και γρήγορη αποκατάσταση σε όλους όσοι επλήγησαν.

Following the exceptional weather conditions and flooding that affected Ierapetra and the surrounding area, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who offered their assistance in any way during these difficult hours.
Our gratitude goes to the Fire Service, Hellenic Police, Coast Guard, Civil Protection, Municipality of Ierapetra, Municipal Police, Hellenic Red Cross and all the volunteers who were there wherever help was needed.
A very special thank you also goes to all our staff at Mare Blue Crete & Mare Village, as well as our Animation Teams of Framissima & Alltoura. Despite the extremely challenging conditions, everyone was there to help in every possible way — supporting our guests and their safety, while also helping us deal with the problems caused by the severe weather throughout our hotels.
The teamwork, commitment and willingness to help shown by everyone were truly invaluable.
Our thoughts are with everyone affected, and we wish them strength and a quick recovery from the damage.
